Featured Report: Falling Behind: Canada's Lost Clean Energy Jobs

In a report published in May 2010, researchers from Environmental Defense with the co-operation of Blue Green Canada, examined the Government of Canada's clean energy investments compared to that of the Obama administration. The report focused on the support given to renewable energy, green transportation, and energy efficiency, concluding that the investment of Canadian stimulus funding in clean energy has been markedly less than that of the US and Mexico. Ultimately, the report concludes that this lack of investment has cost Canadians upwards of 66,000 jobs.
