The new May edition of FOCALPoint focuses on the significant Canada-Mexico relationship. In this edition, which includes an article from Ambassador of Mexico to Canada, Francisco Barrio-Terrazas the often forgotten but important relationship between Canada and Mexico is highlighted. North American Futures Conference

In March 2010, a two-day "North American Futures" conference was organized in Berkeley by the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of British Columbia with leading scholars, practitioners and media commentators to examine current public policy and political issues. Keynote remarks by two top former ambassadors, Thomas Pickering (US) and Allan Gotlieb (Canada) provided an overview of the relationship and significant points for moving forward between Canada, the US and Mexico.
